Luna Maris was born and raised in a coastal town in the Netherlands. The vast ocean and ever - changing sky have been an integral part of her life since childhood.

She is deeply fascinated by the dynamic beauty of waves crashing against the shore and clouds moving across the sky. After entering the Academy of Fine Arts in Amsterdam, she specialized in natural scenery painting, focusing on capturing the motion of the ocean and sky.

Through continuous exploration and practice, she developed a unique technique to vividly present the fluidity and vitality of natural elements. Her brushstrokes are smooth yet powerful, and her use of color creates a strong sense of depth and movement. Each of her works allows viewers to feel the grandeur and mystery of nature as well as its infinite energy.
