Marcus Brown grew up in a modern urban family in Berlin. The fast - paced life and information - overloaded environment made him strong desire to find a simple and pure way of expression from a young age.

During his university years, he was exposed to minimalist art and was deeply attracted to it. He firmly believes that simplicity is complexity. By continuously refining and simplifying visual elements, he uses only basic geometric shapes, simple colors, and clean lines to construct his works, showcasing a sense of simplicity with power.
